I just deny this fundamental premise. White people are just black people with a melanin deficiency. They are socialized to believe they are superior and that’s about it. Wanting them to validate us is illogical because it implies that they are different somehow. Their differences are all constructions of their own mind. Their socialization and of course their ancestors’s decisions have landed them in the situation they are in to believe this myth about themselves. We don’t need them to acknowledge us anymore than we need another black person to because in essence it is the same thing. The only way I would perceive an acknowledgment from a person socialized to be white would be to feel happy they are finally dealing with their own socialization in a healthy way. I’m not negating your feelings or pain. I understand that the situation we are living in is hell but the crazy cannot lead the sane. It’s not a dig but what else would you call mass delusions about one’s own biology that results in the death of millions of people?
