I think a shift of focus is needed here. Who cares what white men do. If they aren’t sitting in Congress or behind an advertising budget.
Ignore all the rules of dating and socialization.
I’ve had many men of all races act very nervous around my inability to play by the rules. Which is exactly what I want. I don’t want to attract mediocre minds.
The real issue here is socialization. Some humans are socialized and remain so. Others resist and reflect. This removes a lot of the need for black and white categories. Anyone thinking and paying attention to our society has realized it was never race. It was always systematic control. Race was a factor used within the parameters of that control system. Just like money, education, religion, tv and advertising. There’s not a single thing in most of our current realities that is free of this system of control. The fact that so many people are still striving for a house with two kids is troubling. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with this. Only that it doesn’t seem to be sought after by functioning individuals. I mean driving through the suburbs is like driving through a prescription pill factory. Forget driving through a wealthy zip code in the US. One could pick a house at random and supply one’s unbalanced chemical woes for a millennia.
White supremacy, gender stereotypes, racial stereotypes are all a part of the socialization of American citizens. If we wanted to change this we’d have to go after the media and the porn industry but no one seems to know how to go about this. I don’t have the power to influence what media execs do unless I have a platform but everyone is so busy churning on their hampster wheel for the money. That even if they did start out wanting to challenge the system they will inevitably end up a slave to money.
I miss these people socialized to be white but clearly could have cared less :
How did the new version of anti racist white people also end up in bed with the establishment?
I think about this segment often when I find myself using the terms white and black too often. I recognize that racism and socialization have real results and affect actions. I just think we need to stop focusing on the actions and start focusing on the cause. I don’t think we can get there divided. I’m not saying this division is specifically white people’s fault or black people’s fault. I’m saying I think the fault lies with people in power. Yes, demographically they are overwhelmingly white people but they have very little in common with Dylan Roof . Dylann Roof was not raised in elite schools in places like NY and Mass. Dylann Roof just happens to have the same condition of melanin distribution as the Koch brothers. We’ve got to stop focusing on our daily interactions with powerless white people men , women whatever. We’ve got to start aiming at the power structure.
I don’t want to go after Dylann Roof the pawn of media brainwashing. I wouldn’t even feel squeamish over going after Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Trinity, Horace Mann, Dalton etc. clearly this is the education and socialization factor that churns out racist powerful people that control the nation.
This is where our media moguls are being socialized:
The black students in the 90s all seem to have witnessed severe discrimination from the establishment. I don’t know if it’s any different now. I’m assuming it is.
