I’m pretty close with a lot of gay men. I’m a straight black female. I know a gay white male Republican, a few of them actually. My gay white male best friend isn’t like this though. He’s like me. He considers the evidence uses his best judgment and then usually comes out on black people’s side of the issue. Which makes me feel very accepted understood and loved by my white gay male friend. Basically his devotion to being a good friend to me and his other black female friends has made him a more empathetic person all around. The white gay male Trump supporters I know all have white Republican Trump supporting families to back them up. Both me and my gay white male best friend also have white Trump supporting families as well but we just don’t drink the punch. Our families still also believe in homophobia. So why our other gay male friends support it is beyond me. I use to be a self hating Republican black person like Candace Owens but I just turned off the TV and started reading different types of books. That cured me of my Republican sickness and allowed me to start using my own brain . It’s great everyone should try it.
