I’m sorry someone said that to you. My friend in the UK has dealt with being followed around in shops because of her regional accent she has white blonde hair and blue eyes. In America this dynamic would never happen because of her appearance. But not where she is from. She has dealt with incredible discrimination. She’s a lovely person. We need to start joining hands across continents to understand all the systems of oppression we are laboring under as human beings.
