Is it just perceptions at play here? I’ve never been in a situation where white men have been afraid to approach me. I’m actually rarely approached by black men or Latin men. Which has always confused me. I read online all the time that there is some stigma attached to all of this and I’ve never experienced it in real life. Why do people think this is a real phenomenon?

I know if I sit down at a bar some random white dude will come up to me and ask where I’m from. I expect it and most of the time I just want to drink not entertain someone’s questions. Most black men get quiet around me(wish this wouldn’t happen).

I would very much like to hang around more non white men. As nice as white men are it would be nice to discuss real issues. That I would feel completely awkward bringing up with my white male friends.
