I’ve always looked at it from the perspective that if you have to condition people with trillions of dollars to find a certain look attractive it’s probably not all of what it is cracked up to be.

Like essentially if I won a beauty competition but it was because someone paid off the judges I wouldn’t feel too beautiful honestly.

I personally think this is the root of jealousy of a lot of white women. They themselves even know the admiration is not authentic it’s bought and paid for and it’s designed with arbitrary rules. So a lot of them act out with jealous behavior toward each other as well as POC. Because if all you have to do to have an easier life is just be born looking a certain way of course it would naturally create envy. Because it’s not something a person can really control.

Where as I think the jealousy aimed toward POC comes from the fact that people do find us attractive even though marketing executives don’t dump trillions of dollars into conditioning people to find us beautiful. In fact, the opposite happens and still men find us attractive this actually suggests more of a natural preference than any other scenario.
