I’ve been all over YouTube for the last 10 years. I started with editing videos with a lot of copyright but I did get a follow from Kylie Jenner out of that whole deal so I’d say it was a success. I still edit videos and I’m hoping Eminem sees them, they are good. I know he’ll love them. I also during that time made my own vlogging channel where I reviewed my iphone cases and started showing my face . I was a very young and naive but the video got 320k views. It was my first upload on that channel and honestly I literally had no concept back then of how many views that was in the grand scheme. I really didn’t know what to do or what videos to give the viewers at that time. I went to Universal studios and did a review of the stuff I bought there. I was so awkward and confused about what to post but all my videos usually cleared 10,000. Trust me if I had in anyway known that this was a lot and I could get paid I would not have stopped!!! I did a second iphone case video which only got 15,000 views and a few people made fun of me in the comments so I got scared and privated all my videos on that channel. Yeah I had no idea about weathering the punches of online jealousy at all. I also made a 4 th channel during that time editing more videos about a different celebrity and some company contacted me and asked to put their song on my video which had about 400,000 views. They sent me a check for $50 bucks and I thought I was living the high life I was living at home going to college and had zero concept of money back then. I then started a 5th channel where I uploaded clips and somehow one of the videos got 3 million views. It was all copyrighted though. I literally have about 10 YouTube channels all with random subjects and usually one or two videos over 100,000 views. My longest running editing channel which is my baby is the one I’m most invested in I’ve edited over 200 videos on it and I’ve had a few viral edits. I gave one of my channels with the 2,000 subscribers to my friend and he uploaded one video to it and now he’s at 4,000 subscribers YouTube has always worked for me but I rarely have gotten paid from it.
