I’ve come to realize that most of the people who say “not all white people” seem to be saying it as a pure diversion tactic.

For instance I’ve never heard anyone follow up “not all white people” with “and I approve of this.”

I mean what have they just said ?

“Not all white people” “and I’m keeping tabs so I know which white people to avoid.”

“Not all white people.” does not rule out the person who is saying it.

Like what are they even saying?

For a population that swears by data and facts they sure use weird rationale whenever it suits them.

When I hear “Not all white people” What I really hear the person saying is, “Not all white people but definitely me.”
