Just out of curiosity has there ever been a sentiment among the Irish to unpack their assimilation into the Anglo Saxon caste system? I really want to know your point of view. Because the British have made such strides at dealing with past imperialistic ideals. Do the Irish feel a sense of reconciliation? I’m also interested in understanding the difference between how the Scottish responded to Anglo Saxon assimilation vs the Irish ? I always found it interesting that the Anglo Saxon caste system views Celtic culture as part of their history? While there was plenty of mating across populations. I just wondered how you felt about Irish culture being designated under one blanket culture called “European or white.”
