Someone brought this up in a twitter space the other day. That they have already done this. Remember when not enough black people in the U.S were going to college. College was cheaper and a degree was worth something. Often a degree secured you a decent job. Then around the time the data on the studies were being collected that black people were starting to obtain college degrees. The price of college skyrocketed and degrees became increasingly worthless. Now it seems only a Master’s guarantees much of anything.

White supremacist try and take the view that black people inhabiting a space devalues it. Whether it’s a neighborhood an elementary school or a college campus.

What is really happening is that too many white people had to sit in classes with African Americans who clearly came from less financial resources. It makes them uncomfortable to sit next to them and see what this country has done to them.

So they make up stories. It’s their culture. It’s their parenting. It’s their IQ. It’s their laziness. It’s their propensity for violence. It’s their attitudes.

It couldn’t be racism that’s impossible! It’s much easier to put your head on the pillow swallowing all the stories I just mentioned.
