They aren’t really beauty standards. Beauty standards would imply we all had the freedom of thought to choose one type of beauty preference over the other. They were literally murdering people for having dark skin. That’s not really a standard we all participate in and agree too. That’s more like,

“accept less melanin as desirable or die.”

Kind of like everything else.

“Accept our scholarship or we take your job.”

“Accept our rule or we will start wars in your countries.”

Now they simply brainwash us with images and inundate us to the point of having no other option. When I can scroll through Netflix and not only have a choice of white people to watch then maybe I would call what we have a beauty decision. Until that time it’s just a group of very scary domineering oppressive people trying to force their way of doing things down my throat. I’m not buying it but I’ll bide my time.

It would be great if everyone would start waking up now.
