We do need to keep our American racism to ourselves, I agree. I don’t think most Europeans behave the way American white people do. I try to specify “White Americans” as often as I can because I’ve met way too many European white people that are literally not racist and very well educated on the topic of race. American white people are socialized in a very racist system increasing the likelihood that they have internalized white supremacy. The Europeans that I have met do not fall into this category at all.
